This guide is tailored to NVIDIA cards. I do not have access to the latest Intel or AMD GPUs.

MSI Afterburner Settings:
-
Undervolt Profile
-
Overclock Profile
- Core Voltage: +100
- Core Clock: +250
- Memory Clock: +1900
- Power Limit: 133
- Temp Limit: 88

💡
Create two profiles in MSI Afterburner:
- Undervolt profile should have a lowered voltage for a clock speed close to stock or boost clock.
- Overclock profile should be rigoriously tested for absolute stability. All cards are different. My friend’s RTX 4090 could only manage +1200 on memory, but mine was able to maintain +1900.

Nvidia Driver Install
I use NVCleanstall to install only the necessity, and leave all the bloatware out. This leads to less processes for the system.
I always select the Studio drivers, as they see less releases and are rigorously tested for stability. The Game Ready drivers have been more buggy recently (with the RTX 50 series fiasco), and do not recommend using unless you need it for newer titles.
- Select latest Studio driver.
- Do not install any components other than the Legacy Control Panel and the Graphics Driver itself. This will be a cleaner install than doing it through Nvidia app.
- For Installation Tweaks, enable the following:
- Disable Installer Telemetry & Advertising
- Perform a Clean Installation
- Disable Multiplane Overlay (MPO)
- Disable Ansel
- Show Expert Tweaks
- Disable Driver Telemetry
- Disable NVIDIA HD Audio device sleep timer
- Enable Message Signaled Interrupts (leave both policy and priority at defaults)
- Disable HDCP.
- Install the graphics drivers and done!
