Create two profiles in MSI Afterburner:

Nvidia Driver Install

I use NVCleanstall to install only the necessity, and leave all the bloatware out. This leads to less processes for the system.

I always select the Studio drivers, as they see less releases and are rigorously tested for stability. The Game Ready drivers have been more buggy recently (with the RTX 50 series fiasco), and do not recommend using unless you need it for newer titles.

  1. Select latest Studio driver.
  2. Do not install any components other than the Legacy Control Panel and the Graphics Driver itself. This will be a cleaner install than doing it through Nvidia app.
